Braga beats Maritimo 2-1 in Portugal


LISBON, Portugal (AP): Braga beat Maritimo 2-1 to move into fifth place in the Portuguese league on Saturday.
Winger Helder Barbosa put Braga ahead just 21 seconds after the opening whistle, but Pap "Baba" Babacar was quick to pull the hosts even two minutes later. Custodio Dias de Castro headed in Braga's winner in the 68th.
On Friday, Sporting drew 3-3 against last-place Naval, and is seven points behind second-place Benfica ahead of its game against Setubal on Sunday.
Also on Sunday, FC Porto hosts Rio Ave looking to stay unbeaten and in full control of the league table.
