Warnock slams players’ erratic defending

LONDON: QPR manager Neil War-nock was furious with two incidents of “schoolboy defending” even though his side extended their lead at the top of Division Two to five points after a 2-2 draw with Bristol City.
“They (City) were hanging on by their fingernails and we helped them with a few misses. And we made two schoolboy errors at the back which is unlike us this season,” Warnock said.
Having gifted City the lead at Loftus Road on Monday when Clint Hill let in Brett Pitman, QPR hit back through Alejandro Faurlin and an Adel Taarabt penalty to lead heading into the closing stages. But in stoppage time the unmarked Steven Caulker headed visitors City level from a corner.
