Park doubtful for final South Korea game

DOHA, Qatar (AP) - South Korea coach Cho Kwang-rae says he is monitoring the fitness of Park Ji-sung ahead of Friday's third-place playoff at the Asian Cup, which could be the Manchester United midfielder's final game for his country.
Cho said Thursday that Park is not injured but that he was concerned about the midfielder's fitness level and was focusing on "injury prevention."
Park says he will make an announcement on his future after Friday's game against Uzbekistan, but he has hinted he will call time on his international career. The 29-year-old midfielder won his 100th cap in Tuesday's semifinal loss to Japan.
Lee Young-pyo has already announced that he will quit the national team after Friday's game. The former PSV Eindhoven, Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund defender has 126 caps.
